R. Mimi Clarke Secor, MS, MEd, APRN, BC, FNP, FAANP

Panelist Bio: All About Mimi Secor

R. Mimi Clarke Secor, MS, MEd, APRN, BC, FNP, FAANP, is a national speaker and consultant and has worked for 30 years as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s health. She is also currently a visiting scholar at Boston College and a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.

Among Ms. Secor’s special interests is vulvovaginitis, on which she has published numerous articles dealing with diagnosis including vaginal microscopy and treatment guidelines. She has has also authored book chapters on women’s health, contraception, the pelvic examination and anemia. In addition, Ms. Secor has lectured at nurse practitioner programs throughout the United States and Canada on vaginitis, sexually transmitted diseases, cervical cancer screening, female sexual dysfunction, PCOS, menopause and related subjects.

Ms. Secor is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), NPWH (Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health), the American Women’s Medical Association, and ARHP (Association of Reproductive Health Professionals). She has served as CEO and President of the Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education (NPACE) and is a founding board member of the American College of Clinicians (ACC), a recently formed national organization for nurse practitioners and physician assistants. She has received several awards in patient care and education.
